Included On Demand Conference Call Features
With Wholesale Conference Calls, you can have as many single conferences on your account as needed. In addition, you have the flexibility to host simultaneous conferences. This service is provided at no cost to all toll-free accounts.
Multiple Moderator / Speaker / Participant Codes
As an account administrator, you can have an unlimited number of PINS (personal identification numbers) for your conferences. This means that you can assign unique PINS to each conference participant if necessary. To remove a PIN, you can click the Rem (remove) button located next to the participant’s name. You also have the flexibility to assign either speaker or participant status to each identification number. When using the PIN with the Dynamic Call Monitoring feature, you’ll be able to tell exactly who is in attendance.
The Pre-Conference feature, which is available for every conference, allows the speakers and moderator to meet in a separate virtual conference room prior to the conference beginning. With one key stroke, the pre-conference can be terminated so that the live conference call can begin. At that time, the participants are placed into listen-only mode.
With the recording and playback features, you have the added convenience of recording conference calls, announcements, or virtually anything you need to communicate to others and then have it available for later access. No one ever needs to miss an important conference call or announcement. With the playback feature, participants can listen to the recording, at their convenience, by dialing the access number and their pre-assigned PIN. For flat-rate accounts, there is a per-minute charge for the playback option.
Our convenient desktop controls allow you to manage all aspects of your conference call with the click of a mouse. Through the Dynamic Call Monitoring panel, accessible through the conference manager, you can enable/disable call recording, lock/unlock the conference, enable/disable lecture mode, mute/un-mute individual callers, remove individual callers from the conference, as well as facilitate the Q & A feature which allows participants to ask questions and to have them answered in an orderly fashion.
Registration pages can be branded with your company’s information including the company’s logo, the speaker’s photo and other necessary details. The registration page allows participants to register for the conference call and can be used to gather information like email addresses, company names, departments, or virtually any other identifying information. Through this system, participants can be issued unique PINs to access the conference call.

Instead of participants waiting on a silent line or listening to music that doesn’t “fit” with your conference, they can listen to your choice of custom hold music or your company’s advertisements and announcements. Simply send your audio file to Wholesale Conference Calls and it will be uploaded to your conference bridge.
With the accounting code feature, a call facilitator inputs an accounting code before entering the conference to ensure the call is traceable to a department, branch, cost center or other accounting entity. Now, users can pre-load their proprietary chart of accounts to the system. The code entered by a call facilitator will now be validated against this master list, ensuring that only valid codes are entered before one can join a conference. Now all call activity can be traceable to authorized accounting entities for more effective and efficient management of company costs.
You can record all of your conference calls with Wholesale Conference Calls. Using your desktop controls or by entering keys on your telephone keypad, you can start or stop recording with ease. Digital recordings are available for download for up to 30 days or may be accessed through the playback feature.

With the live Q & A feature, the call moderator can easily manage questions from participants. First, the moderator places the system in lecture mode, which mutes all of the participant lines. Then each participant asks a question by pressing *1. This function places the participant in the Q & A queue. The moderator can then un-mute each participant line in succession, allowing the participant to ask his or her questions and the moderator to respond. This call feature adds a professional touch and is especially useful for calls with a large number of participants.
Through the online call scheduler, you can set up conferences with unique names and unique PINs. You can schedule recurring conference calls, add expiration dates and more. This option is not available for flat-rate plans.
You can allow specific users limited access to your online Wholesale Conference Calls account. For example, you can configure your account to allow users to access their own conferences as well as define access to specific parts of the account, like giving the accounting department access to the account’s billing statement.
You have complete access to view all of your conference call invoices, online, at any time, including access to historical statements. Your call records are immediately updated as soon as the conference call ends, so you can easily and quickly view your charges.
A complete history of your conference call records is available for your review. You can access the participants IDs, listen to their name recordings, as well as view the PINs used to access the conference. You can view the length of the call, the number of participants, as well as the cost of the call at any time.

How to Dial-Out to Participants
- *1 Dial out to a participant: By pressing *1, the “leader” is temporarily removed from the conference and can dial out to another participant.
- *2 Return with a new participant: After dialing out to the participant, the “leader” can press *2 to return to the conference with the new participant.
- *3 Return without a new participant: After dialing out to the participant, the “leader” can press *3 to return to the conference without the new participant.
